I’ve spent a lot of time around kids. From early babysitting jobs to being an aunt to a hoard of nieces and nephews and then becoming a mother myself and if there is one thing I’ve learned it’s that children are a beautiful gross mess. Their little fingers seem as though they were designed to fit into their noses or the noses of their friends and hollering at your child from across the room as they lick macaroni off the floor only seems to motivate them to indulge in other sickness-inducing activities. Let’s not forget about the time my 3-year-old sneezed in my mouth. I’m sure we can all think of instances grosser still.
