Home Spa Treatments: Everything You Need to Know

Many people choose DIY face masks or hair treatments, everything that takes into account the aspect of beauty. We’re here to give you some tips on how to make your own home-spa treatments. We’re here to also give you affordable spa for sale Perth WA  Check out if you're interested.

Prepare yourself

Salon treatments always feel and look fabulous, and that is because of the ceremony. If you want to make a spa from your home, you need to follow these rules:

- fresh towels – full size and face towels.
- headband or a hair turban, to keep your hair away from your face
- scented candles
- essential oil burner
- a dressing gown

It might not hurt also to get some calm spa sounds. You can find them everywhere on the internet.

Leave your phone

All the professional spas ask you to leave your phone in the locker, or in the corner of the room – somewhere far from you. You should do the same for your home spa. If you don’t want to turn it off, at least put it on silent, somewhere away from you. You won’t need to check it all the time, without reason, as most of us do. This is how you’ll be able to focus on you and your comfort.

The steam is important

Most people go to spas for the steaming machine. The steam can open up your pores, and your skin will be able to breathe as it is supposed to. You can create a similar effect at home. All you need to do is fill a large bowl with hot water, then put your head over it. Then, cover your head and the bowl with a towel in order to keep the steam in. If you want more than that, you can also add some drops of your essential oil or even some herbs on the water before you start the steaming process.

Some steamed towels are used for professional treatments to remove cleansers, masks, and exfoliants. If you want to do this at home, soak a towel -  a small one – in water, and also put some drops of essential oil. Or you can soak the towel in hot water, then wring it. After that, use it to wipe your entire face.

Use your foundation brush

It’s one of the best feelings in the world when a professional apply your face mask, but you can feel the same in your own bathroom. Don’t use your fingers. Instead, use your foundation brush when you apply the face mask. You’ll also get an even product application.
