Directed by Guillermo del Toro, Pacific Rim is an exciting science fiction film that takes place in the 2020s. The scene is set with Earth at war with Kaijus; colossal monsters that hail from an inter-dimensional gateway on the Pacific Ocean floor. All of humanity must unite together to fight against these monsters by creating their own weapon, the Jaegers; gigantic humanoid robots controlled by two pilots whose mind and and memories are linked. The movie follows Raleigh Becket, a former Jaeger pilot called out of retirement who is teamed up with newbie pilot Mako Mori, in an action packed final effort to defeat the Kaijus!
