As a member of Mom Bloggers for Social Good, I wanted to share with you the No Kid Hungry Campaign. Hunger in our country is a very serious issue, and this affects the children of our nation and their ability to do the things they need to succeed, such as concentrate in school. Teachers are taking note of how this affects their students. In fact, 3 in 5 K-8 public school teachers say students regularly come to school hungry. That's an alarming number! The impact of this prevents children from being able to concentrate in school, but also creates an overall poor academic performance and physical symptoms like headaches and stomach pains.
