Woodrow Wear

Here we are on Day 5 of "4 The Pets".  Day 5 is all about a wonderful company called Woodrow Wear and how they are making mobility easier for dogs!  

Woodrow Wear is the result of a wonderful woman by the name of Lorraine.  Lorraine needed to find a solution to help her senior dog "Woodrow" get around easier with his mobility being limited due to hip dysplasia and arthritis.  After calling around and searching for an answer without any luck, Lorraine took matters into her own hands and created the company Woodrow Wear, the maker of Power Paws.

Power Paws help older dogs (and younger ones too!) with paw protection, traction on slippery and hardwood floors, and simply as a fashion statement!  Power Paws come in 8 different sizes so they fit virtually any dog.  Each pack comes with a total of four socks. Depending on your dog's needs they can either be worn on just the back paws, or all four!

What I love about Woodrow Wear is how they are all about giving back to the community and supporting animals!  Some of the organizations that Woodrow Wear donates and supports are the Humane Society of Santa Clara County, MaxFund, The Grey Muzzle Organization, St.Francis Animal Rescue Group, and Valley Of The Sun Giant Schnauzer Group.

The pup and I had a wonderful opportunity to review Power Paws for ourselves and I have nothing but great things to say about them!  My dog is getting older and paired with him being a chug (mix of pug and chihuahua), he has always had some issues getting around.  His breed is characterized by a pug sized body and small chihuahua legs. He was definitely in need of some Power Paws!  

I didn't know how the pup was going to take to me putting the Power Paws on him.  He can have a little diva attitude and he is not one to dress up.  Surprisingly, he didn't mind the Power Paws at all!  He took to them right away and I can see a huge improvement on how he gets around the house now.  Power Paws have definitely made a life improvement for him and I would recommend these for any dog who could benefit from them!
